The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, reiterated this Monday his gratitude, on behalf of the People of Venezuela, to the international brigades that are deployed in the country to support the search efforts following the recent earthquakes recorded.
“We are continuing with the work of 3,319 foreign rescuers, 45 international delegations, 140 dogs, 49 support vehicles and a total of 707,063 tons of humanitarian aid,” he said during the balance of the deployment.
In this regard, he praised the solidarity expressed in the world in the face of this contingency. “Whenever we give this figure, not only are we moved, but from the bottom of our hearts, of all Venezuelan women and all Venezuelans, we thank everyone. We are not making any kind of distinction about what country one comes from, what country another one comes from, they are all our brothers because we have united in dealing with this tragedy,” he said.
