More than 8,500 people are being treated in temporary camps set up in Caracas

A total of 8,508 people are being treated in the 41 temporary camps set up by the Bolivarian Government in Caracas, to accommodate those affected by the double earthquake of last June 24.

According to the balance sheet presented by the sectoral vice-president of Territorial Socialism, Héctor Rodríguez, the above-mentioned camps, located in the capital city, have an installed capacity to serve 10,939 people.

He also explained that in La Guaira there are 28 camps with 12,123 people; in Miranda there are 28 camps with 1,816 people and in Aragua there are 10 centers with 675 people.

In the same way, Rodríguez highlighted that, in total, 107 camps are installed in the country with a service capacity of 27,950.
