More than a thousand schools in Aragüeña opened their doors this Monday

This Monday, September 14, more than a thousand educational institutions in the state of Aragua opened their doors to receive the Semillero de la Patria, which returned to the classrooms to begin the new academic period 2026-2027, said the governor of that entity, Joana Sánchez.

In this regard, the regional authority noted that more than 305,000 students returned to the campuses excited and ready to continue their academic training. “Today, 95% of students are reported to be reinstated, where the 1,265 institutions of the state's municipalities are ready to start, together with the team of the Protection System for Children and Adolescents that is present in each of the schools, doing this attention to safeguard the right of our children to education.”

Also, during the day back to school, Governor Sánchez accompanied by Leira Suárez, the sole authority of Education, and the mayor of Francisco Linares Alcántara, Víctor Bravo, led the reinauguration of the “Francisco Isnardi” National Educational Unit and the “Belén San Juan” National Basic School, educational centers that share infrastructure.

Sánchez, according to a press release, indicated that the work delivered has rehabilitated areas and their school furniture, necessary elements for students to receive a high quality education.
