The authorities of the Ministry of People's Power for Health (MPPS) held a technical meeting with representatives of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) with the firm intention of continuing institutional cooperation and optimizing care for communities affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

The minister of the health portfolio, Dr. Carlos Alvarado, led this strategic meeting together with the international delegation to align efforts aimed at offering immediate medical assistance in the face of the national contingency, as reported through the institution's digital platforms.

Alvarado highlighted that, through these institutional alliances, the national government decisively strengthens the National Public Health System (SPNS), with the clear objective of consolidating a robust infrastructure capable of responding effectively in times of difficulty.

Finally, the spokespersons of the health sector confirmed their commitment to guarantee a timely, efficient and supportive response throughout the national territory, maintaining a permanent preventive deployment focused primarily on protecting the integral well-being of the Venezuelan population.
