Nahum Fernández: Communes hold organizational meetings on the way to the National Popular Consultation 2026

The head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, stressed that as part of the preparations for the second National Popular Consultation 2026 on October 18, the Communes in Caracas hold organizational meetings to consolidate the materialization of community projects.

In his account on the social network Instagram, he specified that they are preparing “for an unprecedented democratic festival, the National Popular Consultation convened by our President Delcy Rodríguez will be essential to consolidate the materialization of the projects chosen in each community”.

He explained that in addition to the organizational meetings, the spokespersons have also been updated in each territory and the discussion that integrates each Commune to establish profound transformation.

“The #18oct all of Venezuela will demonstrate what true participatory and leading democracy means,” he said.

He also stressed that they have talked about how President Rodríguez has led the Venezuela Renace Plan with excellence. “And yes, there was complex damage to buildings, homes and businesses in our capital city as a result of the #24jun earthquake, but today we are pleased to see the results of a joint effort, a tireless effort that has guaranteed the return to homes of Venezuelan families,” he said.

In this regard, he expressed the commitment of the Government of the Capital District to continue to guarantee better housing conditions for Venezuelans.

“We will not rest until we guarantee the total habitability of all Venezuelans to their homes,” he emphasized.
