National Government and FANB honor those killed by a double earthquake on June 24

This Friday, July 24, the President in charge of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Delcy Rodríguez, during the ceremony of military promotions in the framework of the 243rd Anniversary of the birth of Simon Bolivar, the 203 years of the Naval Battle of the Lake and the Day of the Bolivarian Navy, stopped the activity at 6:04pm to request a minute of silence for those who died as a result of the double earthquake that occurred in the country.

In this regard, the head of state in charge stated that “one month after the earthquakes that grieved Venezuelan families, I want from here, from this solemn act to ask for a touch of silence.”

The event, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, takes place in the courtyard of honor of the Ministry of Popular Power for Defense, in the company of the military authorities and the National Executive.
