If our country were militarily attacked, according to our military doctrine, it would pass into the armed struggle of the entire people, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“If Venezuela were attacked, it would immediately become the armed struggle of the entire people and if it were an aggression in general, we would declare the Republic in arms and there we would follow Bolivar's paths to freedom,” he emphasized during a meeting with national and international media, where he explained that military doctrine and the concept of defense of the country establish armed and unarmed struggle as ways to fully defend our Homeland.

“When we talk about the national strategic concept, it is that, if Venezuela were attacked by the American empire, immediately in accordance with the doctrine, the Constitution and the Law, we would move on to armed struggle the entire country and we would carry out armed actions in localities, regions and places where necessary to confront the mercenary group or the invading Yankee group,” he stressed while stressing that this military doctrine is “completely polished”.

On the other hand, the President pointed out that as part of Operation Independence 200, more than 2,500 men and women of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the Bolivarian National Militia were deployed throughout the territory to ensure the protection of our sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“With this deployment, we cover more than 284 objectives of interest or battle fronts for peace and the country's sovereignty,” he stressed while indicating that these military exercises will be maintained as part of the actions carried out by the Executive to increase the mobilization capacities and the level of operational readiness of the FANB.
