Nicolás Maduro's swearing in as constitutional president: 11 years of Chavista loyalty

On April 19, 2013, the National Assembly (AN) chaired by Diosdado Cabello sworn in Nicolás Maduro as president of the Republic.
“I swear by the eternal memory of Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez, that I will comply and enforce this Constitution,” Maduro said when he took the oath of office.
This historic act of the first Chavista president took place in the chamber that the AN, together with the Venezuelan people, ministers, governors, representatives of the public authorities, as well as 60 delegations from around the world and 17 heads of state.
It is worth remembering that on April 14 of that same year, the People in the middle of the dollar for the physical departure of Commander Chávez, fulfilled their promise to the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution by giving victory to President Maduro with 50.60 votes
