Organizing Committee of the II Bolivarian Youth Games Caracas 2027 reviewed possible venues

The Organizing Committee of the II Bolivarian Youth Games Caracas 2027 reviewed, this Monday, the aspects related to the venues, sports disciplines and the rescheduling of the international competition at a meeting held in the office of the Ministry of Sports.

The Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Franklin Cardillo; together with the general director of the Bolivarian Games, Harold Ramos; the executive director, Jesús Brito; and the president of the Venezuelan Olympic Committee (COV), María Soto, reviewed the competition schedule, logistics and sports facilities that will host the competitions.

One of the main topics of the day was related to the participation of the state of La Guaira as a sub-headquarters of competencies, with an emphasis on the review and confirmation of scenarios aimed at the different disciplines, according to the press release of the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports.

Among the modalities planned for this entity are triathlon, road cycling, court volleyball, beach volleyball, open water and field soccer, in accordance with the preliminary planning of the Organizing Committee.

‎La evaluation of the spaces will make it possible to establish the necessary conditions to guarantee the development of sports events, in accordance with the technical requirements of each specialty.

During the meeting, the proposal to reschedule the II Bolivarian Youth Games Caracas for May 2027 as a tentative date was also analyzed.

The sports authorities are holding talks with the Bolivarian Sports Organization (ODEBO) to advance the definition of the technical and organizational aspects related to the new calendar.

In this way, Venezuela is making progress in preparing for the 1st Bolivarian Youth Games Caracas 2026, with the firm intention of offering the best conditions for the development of this competition and showing the talent of the new generation of athletes in the region.
