Padrino López: Delcy Rodríguez has earned unquestionable performance legitimacy

The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, has earned indisputable legitimacy for governing effectively, preserving peace in the country and focusing her efforts on economic recovery, said Defense Minister, G/J Vladimir Padrino López.

Through a message published on his Telegram channel, the senior military official recognized the “skill and height” that the Head of State has had in understanding the geopolitical dynamics that inevitably influence the destinies of Venezuela.

“The original legitimacy of President Delcy Rodríguez is unquestionable; she has had to take on this challenge because of the “forced absence” of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, whom she accompanied as executive vice-president in the previous presidential term and in the campaign that led to the electoral victory of July 28, 2024, which was ratified at the beginning of the current constitutional term,” he said.

In the same way, Padrino López confirmed the support of the military institution for Rodríguez as its Commander in Chief, to which he stressed that: “Despite the threats against Venezuela and the attack suffered on January 3, I reaffirm what I expressed several times to my comrades in arms at the end of last year: I see 2026 with great optimism!”
