Padrino López: FANB began deploying air, maritime and artillery equipment for the defense of the territory

Within the framework of Operation Independence 200, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) began deploying air defense and maritime resources to be able to face any threat against our territory, said Defense Minister G/J Vladimir Padrino López.
“We have also been assigning tasks to special forces, deconcentrating air and naval assets to build barriers and assign patrol areas. We are also activating all the logistics bases in the territory so that this operation has the effectiveness and effectiveness that is required from every point of view,” said the senior military officer during an assessment offered regarding this operational deployment of the FANB.
In the same way, he indicated that the military institution began deploying field, strategic and rocket artillery according to their capabilities and their possible use. He also highlighted the deployment that began days ago of the Militia and the fighting corps in order to use them in the comprehensive defense of the nation.
On the other hand, he stressed that for the military operation that began early this Thursday morning by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, 284 critical points have been arranged throughout the national territory that will be addressed according to their nature. “Every critical point has a reaction, a specific action, whether offensive or defensive at times, guerrilla action, territorial militia action, combat force action,” he said.
