Padrino López: FANB remains deployed throughout the country

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), beyond the Civic-Military-Police Exercises Independence 200, remains deployed throughout the national territory to ensure our territorial integrity and sovereignty, said Defense Minister G/J Vladimir Padrino López.

From the Bolivarian Military University, during the revival of the Great Black First Mission, he stressed that our olive-green men and women continue to carry out their tasks within the territory in order to guarantee their protection.

On the other hand, he stressed that the Independence Exercises 200 have been wonderful for achieving the articulation, cohesion and fine-tuning of the strategic systems of the FANB, of the air defense systems, of the verification of territory, of the communal militia units, the redeployment of weapons to make it immediately available to the militiamen when necessary, etc.

“We have seen an exercise full of wisdom that has left us great lessons, lessons learned. Now what is coming is to seek to perfect each of these lessons and turn them into a doctrine in the midst of imperialist threats,” he stressed while stressing the importance of developing a new military doctrine in the country, which was executed by the Supreme Commander, Hugo Chávez, and maintained by President Nicolás Maduro.
