More than 200,000 members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces were deployed, this Tuesday throughout the national territory, as part of the maneuvers being carried out by the military institution to maximize its level of operational readiness, said the sectoral vice-president of Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, G/J Vladimir Padrino López.

During an assessment of these maneuvers, which he described as a higher level of the Sovereignty 200 exercises, he pointed out that this number of men and women in olive green is added to those who are already active in the territory carrying out tasks to preserve our sovereignty.

“The people should know that we have a Venezuela protected, protected, defended by the FANB and the leadership of President Nicolás Maduro,” he highlighted in statements offered to Venezolana de Televisión.

On the other hand, Padrino stressed that the maneuvers initiated this Tuesday seek, among other things, to “maintain the vitality of command and control” so that, in the event of an aggression, it serves to lead the people to guide the nation.

“We have raised the morality of our FANB. Our soldiers, officers, generals are doing what they learned in military academies, in training units, they are doing what they learned to guarantee peace in the country,” he emphasized.
