The sectoral vice-president of Defense and Sovereignty, Vladimir
Padrino López, celebrated this Friday the enactment of the Amnesty Law for Democratic Coexistence, by
the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic
of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez.
“A great step has been taken, it has been enacted, it has been sanctioned
by the National Assembly (...) the Amnesty for National Coexistence Act.
A great law that will pave the way for the future. A law that will
guarantee positive peace and when I talk about positive peace, I don't just talk about peace without violence, no, it
's deep peace, loving and respectful of
freedom,” Padrino López said in a video released on his social networks.
In this regard, he stressed that the
Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), an “institution of values, principles, that
deeply loves democracy”, celebrates “this great event that will pave the
way for new political, democratic processes in the midst of
agonal processes, because politics is not exempt from confrontation, but confrontation must be rational,” he said.
He said that the military body “will be happy to see how the
country is heading to a new destiny”, so he sent a message to the
manipulators and haters “who are trying to divert the course of
history that marks this juncture: Go your way and we continue on ours,” he emphasized.
