In the context of the current global storm, Venezuela, heir to the feat of the battle of Carabobo, does not kneel down or submit to the designs of any foreign power, said Defense Minister G/J Vladimir Padrino López.

“We stood up with the same clarity with which Bolívar sought Latin American unity and we defined our course. How? raising our voices, weaving the road to a pluricentric and multipolar world. For this reason, by evoking the roar of the Carabobo canyons, if we light a candle to the glorious past, we light more strongly a torch for the future of our country, which stands stoically in the face of new attempts at domination,” said Padrino López through a message posted on his Instagram account on the occasion of the commemoration of 204 years of the battle of Carabobo.

In this regard, the senior military officer emphasized that the struggle for independence and full sovereignty is and will always be our slogan.

“What a paradox of our time! As we honor that victorious battle back in Carabobo, the geopolitical map is truly a minefield, shaded by ambition and the clash of empires. The logic of the dominator did not perish in Carabobo, it mutated, it disguised itself as a neoliberal democracy, imposing hybrid wars and suffocating economic blockades in its wake,” he warned.

However, he reiterated that our liberators, on June 24, 1821, envisioned, as we do today, “the dawn of a possible America, where the popular will, united and fierce, could defeat the giant imperialist oppressors.”
