Padrino López: Venezuela is a zone of peace, free of violence and nuclear weapons

Venezuela, together with Latin America and the Caribbean, is a zone of peace, free of violence and nuclear weapons, said Defense Minister G/J Vladimir Padrino López.

Through a post on his Instagram account, the senior military officer stressed that our country does not represent any threat to neighboring nations or the world.

“There are no defensive positions here, but rather a patriotic stance that comes out every day, with coherent strategies to defend our beloved Homeland,” he said while stressing that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, in fulfillment of its constitutional mission, is prepared to guarantee national independence and preserve the integrity of our territory.
