PDVSA and Continental Resources sign Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen hydrocarbon production

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced this Wednesday the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Petrleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA) and the US company Continental Resources, to promote new technical and financial capabilities for the development of the Ayacucho Block 2 of the Orinoco Oil Belt.
“We are taking firm steps for the development of our energy industry,” said the president in a message released on her Telegram channel, celebrating the signing of this important strategic alliance.
He stressed that with these strategic actions, “we are making progress in strengthening our hydrocarbon production and in generating new opportunities for economic growth in Venezuela.”
