Portuguese: Bolivarian Government advances in the construction of a metal bridge over the Ospino River

In the upper area of the Portuguese state, a metal bridge is being built that will serve as a road connection to the coffee farmers of this entity and Lara.

The work is being carried out on the Ospino River, in the parish of La Estación, and will benefit both the productive sector and 150 communities in the area that, given the lack of a bridge, are mobilized through walkways.

Mayor Yongeiby Yépez reported that the structure is in the final stages of construction and is the first bridge to be built in La Estación, so he said it is a historic work for the inhabitants of one of the main coffee growing axes in Portuguesa.

He indicated that the infrastructure is being consolidated together with the Government, through the State Plan for the Recovery and Construction of Bridges, to strengthen and promote the development of the Ospino municipality, whose main economic activity is coffee farming.

“We are in the final stretch of building the bridge to make this great dream come true for our coffee growing people,” he said.

Yépez pointed out that the objective is to offer producers and all communities in La Estación parish a quality infrastructure that guarantees safe transit and facilitates the mobilization of the harvest in the upper area of Ospino.

“An achievement achieved thanks to coordination and teamwork with President Delcy Rodríguez, Governor Primitivo Cedeño and the Ministry of Popular Power for the Communes,” he added.
