President confirms loyalty to Commander Chávez 5 years after being sworn in as re-elected head of state

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
Nicolás Maduro, confirmed this Wednesday his loyalty to Supreme Commander Hugo
Chávez, five years after being sworn in as re-elected head of state to serve his second term with the support of the People,
for the period 2019-2025.
“Five years ago I swore to defend the Peace, Democracy,
Integrity and Independence of the Bolivarian Homeland under any circumstance.
A commitment to the People, to the greatness of their history and
to the revolutionary legacy of our Commander Chávez, to whom I will
remain loyal, forever,” said the Dignitary in his account X.
A total of 5 million 823 thousand 728, equivalent to 67.8% of the
votes cast, granted victory to the political forces that supported President Maduro's re-election proposal
.
During his swearing in, on January 10, 2019, he reaffirmed
the call of the Bolivarian Revolution to the peoples of the world to take up their
flags in defense of freedom and independence against the pretensions of the hegemonic powers to impose imperialist ideology
