President Delcy Rodríguez announced the creation of an aquarium and wildlife conservation center in La Guaira

After signing an agreement with the Greens Center of India to empower public zoos in Venezuela, the president reported that it also involves incorporating into the Master Plan for the recovery of the coastal entity the creation of a veterinary center and a hospital for wildlife.

“We want to do our best for La Guaira, to recover it for its people and for the people of Venezuela. And I say that there is no more extraordinary step than an agreement that includes technical assistance for the preservation, conservation and rehabilitation of fauna,” he said in his speech.

He noted that the alliance also contemplates the recovery of the country's zoos, “starting with the Pinar Zoo and the Caricuao Zoo, which may have technical assistance and that our professionals who care for wildlife can also attend courses in India, attend technical support, training, training for what will be work in Venezuela,” he said.
