The oil agreements recently signed between our country and the United States have a scope that “is lost sight of,” said the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.
During a day of inspection of oil projects and upcoming joint agreements to be signed with the United States (USA), the Head of State highlighted the efforts made by both governments to achieve the signing of 17 agreements in the field of hydrocarbons, for the benefit of both nations.
“The impact of these agreements will also be seen at the regional level, for example they will have a great impact on the state of Zulia. We went from having (in the oil fields) 100 vessels to 900, which represents an increase of 800%,” he stressed while stressing that these agreements will also have a positive impact on employment rates in Zulia.
For his part, the chargé d'affaires of the US embassy in Venezuela, John Barrett, highlighted the efforts that the two countries have made to reach these agreements. “The work that is being done is impressive, it's a great agreement. We are very proud to be here. The scenario is changing not only for Venezuela but for the United States. Venezuela is a great partner,” said the diplomat.
