President (E) Delcy Rodríguez congratulated TeleSUR for 21 years of accurate and timely information

The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, extended congratulations and recognition to the management and staff of the multistate television station TeleSUR, for reaching its first 21 years of creation.

“I congratulate TeleSUR, its president, Patricia Villegas, and all its workers, for these 21 years of history. Thank you for being a window of truthful and timely information for Venezuela and the world,” he said in a video posted on his official Telegram account.

He considered that the workers who live their professional lives on television have been able to provide the information that all countries in the world need in more than two decades, with the truth, opportunity and truth that television journalism entails.

“When we want to know what is really happening in Venezuela and the world, TeleSUR is there. Happy anniversary!” , he said.

teleSUR was created on July 24, 2005 by the Commander and then president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, with the support of progressive countries and governments in the region, such as Cuba, Bolivia, Argentina, Ecuador and Nicaragua.
