President (E) Delcy Rodríguez declared a seven-day mourning in honor of earthquake victims

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, declared a seven-day national mourning starting this Wednesday at 6:00 in the afternoon after the devastating earthquakes that occurred on June 24.
Through her social networks, the president in charge pointed out that the Bolivarian nation “has its soul torn by the human losses caused by devastating earthquakes” and confirmed that the Executive accompanies “in pain families who have lost their loved ones”.
“We raise our prayers for the injured, the missing people and the affected communities. In honor of the memory of the victims, I have decided to declare a National Mourning for seven (7) days, starting at 6:00 p.m. today,” he stressed.
In his message, Rodríguez stated that, “in these moments of deep sadness,” he embraces those who suffer this tragedy and reaffirmed his commitment to accompany and protect them.
