President (E) Delcy Rodríguez installed General Staff for Transitional Camps

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, installed this Monday the General Staff for the creation of Transitional Camps and the Accelerated Planning of Housing Projects, following the recent earthquakes that occurred in the country.

During his speech, Rodríguez pointed out that the issue of housing represents “one of the main challenges that have resulted from the double earthquake that occurred on June 24.”

He reported that, at the moment, the experts, engineers and architects who verify the habitability of homes that were impacted by earthquakes are deployed in La Guaira, Miranda and Caracas.

In addition, Rodríguez indicated that authorities of the Bolivarian Government are holding meetings with experts and international organizations, “who are also providing options for immediate and also medium-sized housing solutions.”

“It is a task that we must address together and immediately, which has no delay and that is why the installation of this General Staff,” he said.
