President (E) Delcy Rodríguez met in Caracas with a delegation from the Inter-American Development Bank

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, met this Thursday with a delegation from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), to strengthen multilateral cooperation aimed at national development.

For the financial institution, Anabel González, vice-president of Countries and Regional Integration, participated in the high-level meeting; Andre Soares, head of the IDB Office; and Miguel Coronado, general manager for Andean Countries; while for the Venezuelan delegation, the authorities of the economic and sectoral cabinet accompanied the president in charge.

According to a Presidential Press release, this approach also represents a milestone in the re-establishment of international financial dialogue and multilateral cooperation aimed at the country's development.

Recently, the president in charge reported that the IDB and the World Bank (WB) offered non-refundable aid to Venezuela to promote its reconstruction after the double earthquake of June 24. He explained that the fund's resources will be directed to housing reconstruction and will have all the auditing mechanisms.
