President (E) Delcy Rodríguez: Oil production reaches its highest level since 2019 and the exchange rate gap falls to 12.3%

In the context of the national economic recovery, the president in charge of the Bolivian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted that the country's oil production exceeded 1,230,000 barrels per day, reaching its highest operational figure since February 2019.
The President (e) stressed that, in parallel with the work to address the climate emergency, the National Executive signed 50 strategic agreements with private and international investment in the areas of oil and gas, which will cover the development of more than 76 hydrocarbon productive areas on a national scale.
In addition, the head of state referred to the estimates of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), which project a 6.5% growth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the country at the end of the year, leading the expansion in the region after consolidating 21 consecutive quarters of economic growth.
In the macroeconomic area, he highlighted the reduction of the exchange rate gap, which declined progressively from 30% to 12.3% in the last two months, and reported on progress in the regularization of financial relations with multilateral organizations such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
