President (E) Delcy Rodríguez received a list of military promotions for review and ratification

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, received this Monday the list of military promotions from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), for final review and official ratification.

The document was delivered by the Minister of Popular Power for Defense, GJ Gustavo González López, who expressed his trust in the president responsible for recognizing the work of military personnel.

Rodríguez highlighted the role that the FANB had to play in the midst of the natural tragedy caused by the double earthquake of June 24, when the Battle of Carabobo and Army Day were being celebrated.

He stressed that the operational personnel of the FANB were deployed, “under these special conditions, there on the ground, looking for people alive, removing debris, helping those who need it, treating the injured.”

“These promotions that we are reviewing today have a special meaning because they take place in the midst of this conjuncture, of this circumstance, where there is a Venezuela that is in the making, that is being built,” he said.
