The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held an institutional meeting this Wednesday with the new Resident Coordinator of the United Nations (UN) in the Latin American nation, Álvaro Rodríguez, with the purpose of strengthening bilateral cooperation relations between the Venezuelan State and the multilateral organization.
During the meeting, held at the Miraflores Palace, they addressed the strategic transition from emergency assistance to projects focused on sustainable development and social protection.
According to a release from the Presidential Press, the authorities reviewed the work agenda of the United Nations agencies in Venezuela and coordinated the bases of the strategic cooperation framework for the coming years.
