The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, ratified this Wednesday her commitment to rebuilding the hopes of the people after the devastating earthquakes that occurred on June 24.
Through her Telegram channel, the president in charge highlighted the enactment of the Housing Construction Promotion and Protection Act, approved by the National Assembly, “demonstrating that when we work together we can transform the needs of the people into solutions.”
He recalled that this Tuesday he confirmed the operation of the single-family temporary camps, installed in the Caracas Polyhedron and the Monumental Stadium in record time, “so that our schools can once again receive our children and young people.”
Rodríguez stressed that these spaces provide medical and psychological care, occupational therapy and food, “because behind every family affected by the double earthquake there is a history, a home and a future that we must protect. We continue to rebuild homes, but above all, we are rebuilding hope,” he said.
