The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, led the ceremony of the Joint Graduation of Professional Troops and the swearing in of the High Military Command.

From the Courtyard of the Military University of Venezuela, G/J Gustavo González López, Minister of Popular Power for Defense; Rubén Dario Belzares Escobar, Strategic Operational Commander (CEOFANB); Víctor Hugo Borjas Trujillo, Second Commander of the CEOFANB; José Freitas Gómez, Commander of the Integral Aerospace Defense Command (CODAI); Javier Enrique Magallanes, Commander of the Western REDI; Carlos David Luque Solórzano, Commander of the Maritime and Insular REDI; R omerl Romero Domínguez, Commander of the Los Llanos NETWORK; Pablo Lizano Colmenter, Commander of the Los Andes NETWORK; Ángel Daniel Balestrini Jaramillo, Commander of the REDI Central; D Jenny Ferrer Sandrea, Commander of the Eastern REDI; Miguel Yilales Arteaga, Commander of the REDI Guayana; Carlos Aigster Villamizar, Commander of the REDI Capital, together with 4,961 soldiers swore an oath before “God and the Venezuelan people” to continue strengthening the nation's security policies and supporting the rebirth of Venezuela.

In this regard, Rodríguez urged the uniformed to “maintain the peace and tranquility of our people”, attached to the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

“You carry in your hands the duty to meet the highest standards of the Fatherland,” he added.

For their part, the uniformed personnel reiterated their commitment to discipline, obedience and subordination. “Every morning we will wake up fulfilling the first duty of a soldier of this country: love for the Fatherland.”
