The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that she is acting in good faith to ensure that the relations of the South American nation with the United States (USA) develop in a satisfactory manner.

In an interview with Time magazine, the president in charge said that she hopes that from Washington they are also willing to work in the same way, while stressing that the steps to reactivate binational ties were carried out in an accelerated manner.

In this context, he emphasized that both governments have a broad common agenda that must be developed. Rodríguez indicated that, after the conversation held with the US President, Donald Trump, both countries moved quickly to resume their communications.

“I am acting in good faith and trusting that these relationships will develop in good faith; and, in parallel, there is a very broad cooperation agenda that must be addressed,” he said.
