President (E) Rodríguez appointed new CEOFANB, CODAI and heads of REDI

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, announced the appointment of the new heads of the Strategic Operational Command (CEO) of the glorious Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the Integral Aerospace Defense Command (CODAI).

In this regard, in his account on the social network Telegram, he specified that M/G Rubén Darío Balzares Escobar, was appointed commander of the CEOFANB; as second commander, Admiral Víctor Hugo Borjas Trujillo and as commander of the CODAI, G/D José Freitas Gómez.

I have also appointed the new Commanders of the Strategic Regions for Integral Defense (REDIS) responsible for ensuring security, strategic defense and operational coordination throughout the national territory.

“I fully trust that they will carry out this mission with loyalty, discipline and the highest sense of duty, honoring the legacy of our Liberator Father Simon Bolivar and the permanent commitment of the FANB to the service of the Venezuelan people,” said the president in charge.
