President (E) Rodríguez held a conversation with the president of Brazil and thanked support after earthquakes

From her telegram channel, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that she thanked the president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, for his support and solidarity with Venezuela, after the double earthquake of 24 June.

“I had a telephone conversation with the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, to whom I expressed, on behalf of the Venezuelan people, our deep gratitude for the solidarity and valuable support provided since the first hours of the emergency caused by the earthquakes of last June 24.

He added that “during this conversation, we addressed the advances in the work of caring for the affected communities and the efforts undertaken in the reconstruction phase. We agree on the importance of maintaining close cooperation between our countries.”
