The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, met on the night of this Thursday, July 16, a meeting with Hadja Lahbib, European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, with whom she reviewed the progress of the cooperation deployed after the earthquakes that affected our country.

“I expressed Venezuela's gratitude for the timely activation of the European Civil Protection Mechanism, which allowed the mobilization of search and rescue teams in the immediate response phase, and we talked about the support that the European Union can provide during the recovery phase, strengthening technical coordination for reconstruction and care for affected families,” wrote the president in charge on her Instagram account.
