The President in charge of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Delcy Rodríguez, the Minister of People's Power for Defense, General in Chief Gustavo González López, led the The promotion and graduation ceremony of the Presidential Honor Guard (GHP) and the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (DGCIM), held in the Hall of Honor of the military institution.

The military act took place simultaneously in all regions of the national territory and is based on the Magna Carta, which materializes the institutional recognition of the merit, suitability, commitment and sacrifice of the men and women who make up the armed body.

In a coordinated manner, in the different military units of the country, patriotic troops reached the immediate highest rank and hierarchy. This protocol act represents the culmination of a process of continuous evaluation in which military personnel are rewarded for their selflessness, discipline and professional commitment in favor of the preservation of peace and national sovereignty.

During the day, officers were promoted to the ranks of Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel, Major, Captain and First Lieutenant. In addition, the members of the Professional Troop reached the ranks of Supervising Sergeant, Assistant Sergeant, First Major Sergeant, Second Major Sergeant, Third Sergeant Major and First Sergeant.

With this massive promotion, the FANB strengthens its command structure, raises the morale of its troops and ratifies the unwavering commitment of its members to the comprehensive defense of the Nation.
