Through her Telegram channel, the
president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reaffirmed that today the
priority is to protect the lives of those who survived after the earthquakes that occurred in the national
territory last Wednesday.
“Today our priority is only one:
to protect the lives of those who survived, of families who
are now in temporary camps and of those who still need a
safe place,” he said this Wednesday.
He also emphasized that the
Bolivarian Government is active 24 hours a day to guarantee the attention of the People. “We
're not going to faint! We will continue together to resolve the situation and the
consequences derived from this natural tragedy that struck our people,” he said.
He reiterated the deployment “at all levels of Government to provide protection, care and the certainty that, together, we will succeed. For life, whatever!”
