President in Charge: A gradual process of resuming consular relations with Peru begins

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reaffirmed that Venezuela, together with the Government of the Republic of Peru, took the decision to begin a progressive process of comprehensive resumption of bilateral relations.
In this regard, the head of state in charge stated that “the resumption of consular relations with Peru, a South American country”.
“Go to a gradual process of resuming relationships. Venezuela must be inserted in international relations through the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace,” he said.
He stressed that it is Simon Bolivar's Diplomacy that “guides our international actions.”
This was stated by the Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), in the courtyard of honor of the Minister of Popular Power for Defense, where she led the ceremony of military promotion in the framework of the 243rd Anniversary of Simon Bolivar's birth, 203 years of the Naval Battle of the Lake and the Day of the Bolivarian Navy.
