The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, after leaving the meeting she held with the Secretary of Energy of the United States, Chris Wrigth, welcomed a long-term productive partnership in the oil and gas sector with the North American nation.
“We have had a work agenda with important focal points. The first point is the establishment of a long-term productive partnership, which allows an energy agenda that becomes an engine of the bilateral relationship and that that agenda is effective, productive, beneficial to both countries and complementary. Above all, it is beneficial for both countries and for both peoples, so that this agenda can move forward without difficulties and without setbacks,” said the dignitary outside the Miraflores Palace.
Rodríguez explained that for oil, gas, mining and electric energy projects, there were meetings with his Venezuelan peers, seeking to agree positions that would allow “to move forward as quickly as possible.”
“We know that this first trip will become the opening for many other trips. I'm sure we'll have Secretary Wright and his technical teams visiting. We welcome this long-term energy agenda and productive partnership,” he said.
