The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced this Wednesday a national competition for the elaboration of the La Guaira Master Plan and El Junquito Master Plan, for the economic recovery of areas affected by the devastating earthquakes recorded on June 24.
During a tour of the El Junquito parish, in Caracas, the president in charge indicated that the competition will be open to specialists after the preparation of the soil study. The reconstruction will articulate the national, regional, local government and organized community.
He stressed that the master plan includes planned tourist activity, agricultural production and commercial revitalization. “This parish (El Junquito) is going to be reborn, hope will be reborn from the rubble (...) we will have fields for cultivation, spaces for entrepreneurship, for commerce,” he said.
Rodríguez highlighted that the projects will integrate local producers, merchants and workers as the axis of the economic recovery of both La Guaira and El Junquito.
