The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, during the balance of the deployment “Happy and Safe Carnivals 2026", highlighted the growth of economic activity during this year when the transactional nature of trade grew by 41% compared to 2025.

“Visits to markets and self-markets grew by 7%, wholesalers by 13%, visits to shopping centers grew by 5%, we are seeing the impact of the economy with our people's own efforts that no one comes to say that they are helping Venezuela because it's not thanks to the Venezuelan people who recover and rise up in the midst of a terrible criminal blockade,” said the president in charge.

He also added that just a month and a few days after having suffered a military attack, the 2026 carnivals took place with a great expression of colors, joy and atmosphere filled with peace and national unity.
