The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, carried out this Tuesday, June 30, at night, an aerial inspection of the Costa de La Guaira, in a rescue and care deployment, in order to assess the magnitude of material damage to housing areas and infrastructure following the double earthquake recorded last June 24.

In a broadcast on Venezolana de Televisión, it stands out that the overflight covered the entity's coastal belt, with the objective of coordinating and optimizing the deployment of comprehensive care to affected families while the competent agencies continue with search, rescue and rescue work.

The president in charge, from the aircraft, emphasized that “we continue to accompany the affected families and directly supervise the care and recovery efforts in La Guaira. I know that many Venezuelans feel pain and frustration; I deeply share those feelings, but I am also convinced that this is the time to draw strength, hold on to the faith and stand together to rise up together.

He also maintained that the Bolivarian Government remains fully deployed, working in a coordinated manner with all State agencies.

“We are deeply grateful for the solidarity of the countries, organizations and international teams that have accompanied Venezuela these days; that support reminds us that we are not alone. With unity, solidarity and work, we will overcome this tragedy and move forward,” he said.
