President in charge Delcy Rodríguez: El Junquito will also be reborn

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, inspected the progress made in structural rehabilitation and comprehensive assistance to families in the parish of El Junquito, strongly impacted by the double earthquake of last June 24.

On his account on the social network Telegram, he said: “El Junquito will also be reborn”.

“By touring this parish and listening to its people, we agreed to promote financial support mechanisms for affected businesses and producers, as well as to grant contingency bonds to support families whose incomes were impacted after the double earthquake,” he said in his message.

In addition, the president in charge stressed that “I have decided to move forward with a Master Plan for the new El Junquito, aimed at strengthening its tourist, productive, agricultural and commercial vocation. We will convene a national competition that will allow specialists to contribute their ideas and define the best project for communities.

“From this rubble, hope, work and opportunities will be reborn. Together we will build a stronger and more prosperous El Junquito,” he emphasized.
