This Friday, March 13, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led a donation of liquefied petroleum gas for Colombia, which started from the Simon Bolivar Bridge in the state of Táchira.

In this regard, he stressed that “it was a gesture of good will, a first donation made by PDVSA (Petroleos de Venezuela), to give an opening.”

“The first passage through the Simon Bolivar Bridge of LPG and butane gas tanks that go to Colombia, he highlighted during a working meeting at the Miraflores Palace, with delegations from Venezuela and Colombia, with the objective of further strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.

In this regard, he requested a satellite connection to the aforementioned bridge, “so that both the People of Colombia and the People of Venezuela can witness what is the first export of LPG from Venezuela to Colombia.”

“President Petro, we are on the path of our Liberators, let there be no doubt about it, all the effort we are making is to honor our Liberator Father Simón Bolívar and that in a few months we can also export methane gas by pipeline, that is the Ricaurte Gas Pipeline, which will once again have life to gas connect Venezuela and Colombia,” he stressed.

He stated that it is a happiness for the Venezuelan people and also for Colombia, “it is the path in which we believe, one Homeland, one Sword.”
