President-in-charge expresses condolences on the death of His Highness the Emir Father of the State of Qatar

This Sunday, July 12, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, said that “with deep pain we received the news of the death of His Highness the Emir Father of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani”.
On his account on the social network Telegram, he said: “We express our deepest condolences to His Highness the Emir, to the distinguished Al Thani family and to the brotherly Qatari people.”
“We highlight his legacy and leadership in building a modern country of international significance, as well as his invaluable contribution to strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Qatar and Venezuela,” he said.
The president in charge said that “we raise our prayers for their eternal rest and accompany the people of Qatar in this moment of deep mourning.”
