This Monday, July 20, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that in addition to the actions of the Bolivarian Government for housing construction, purchases made in the secondary market and the Reform of the Law on Leasing and Real Estate Guarantees will be added.
“The economy minister is already working on that,” he said.
Referring to the above-mentioned law, he specified that with this reform it will be possible to access “a significant number of homes that exist in the rental market. We are working tirelessly, fully attending to the temporary camps.”
This was stated during the delivery of housing in towers J-01 and J-02 of the Ciudad Tiuna housing complex, in the Simón Bolívar sector, in Caracas, to more than 240 families affected by the earthquakes that occurred in the country on June 24.
He also noted that in addition to the aforementioned delivery of housing, he also inspected buildings that are being completed both in Caracas and in several states of the country.
“We are going to go much further so that next year we will have more than 10 thousand homes in buildings that had not been completed,” he explained.
He emphasized that “those who are in the transitional camps must be certain that they will soon have a home, a home.”
