The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, called on the country's youth to join the Democratic Coexistence and Peace Program through youth volunteering.
“I want to invite youth, students and workers, to join the Democratic Coexistence and Peace Program through youth volunteering, so that from our difference, from our divergence, from our political-ideological plurality, we can meet,” he said during a message addressed to this sector of the country.
Rodríguez pointed out that the objective of the program is to strengthen meeting spaces between young people from different sectors, promoting active participation in community initiatives and in the construction of collective solutions. He indicated that the diversity of visions is a value that must be channeled towards peace and coexistence.
During his speech, he stated that he aspires that Venezuelan youth maintain a deep link with national history and with the country. “I hope that young people love our history deeply, love Venezuela deeply,” he said, while stressing the importance of defending identity and sovereignty.
The President in Charge called on young people to assume a national commitment inspired by independence values. He recalled the words of leader José Félix Ribas and stated: “Venezuela cannot choose between winning or dying; Venezuela must win!”
He pointed out that this historic mandate must be expressed today in national union and in the active participation of new generations.
Rodríguez concluded that youth play a decisive role in the defense of the Republic and in building the future and reiterated his call to join the program and to strengthen youth organization in the name of the Fatherland.
