President in Charge thanks Israeli technical-humanitarian delegation for support after earthquakes of 24J

This Tuesday, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a working meeting with the members of the relief and humanitarian assistance delegation of the State of Israel, at the end of their support operations in the national territory following the earthquakes that occurred last June 24.

During the meeting, the head of state formally dismissed the international delegation and transmitted institutional recognition for the technical and logistical deployment carried out in the areas affected by the earthquake.

With this event, the National Executive formalized its gratitude for the work carried out in the field by the Israeli technical representation, which was accompanied by the Jewish community in Venezuela.

This delegation was part of the group of nations and multilateral organizations that provided support to the country in the search and rescue of victims.

The delegation of the State of Israel concludes its functions in the country after contributing its operational experience in dealing with international contingencies.

This team included professionals in Civil Engineering, who focused their work on the evaluation of collapsed structures, the diagnosis of vulnerability in buildings and the design of urgent contingency plans for emergency management.
