The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported feeling happy that right now “the journey with the United States (USA) has been an agenda of respect and cooperation within the framework of our sovereignty.”
Through a telephone contact made at the march that took place on the occasion of Youth Day in Caracas, he said he had completed an inspection tour at the Petroleum Production Unit of Petro Independencia, together with the Secretary of Energy of the United States, Christopher Wright.
“I greet the patriotic and Bolivarian youth who flooded the streets. We have just finished a very intense agenda and I have to confess that I was very proud to be with the working youth of Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) today, to be able to show the truth about Venezuela, that despite the criminal blockade it has not given up and that there is a Venezuela that with its hands and effort has built and worked (...) I felt a lot of pride.”
In this regard, she explained that “I am happy that the energy agenda, which we have been working on for more than a century and a half, can be guided within the framework of international and Venezuelan laws.”
