The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, carried out an inspection tour at the temporary camp of the José Gervasio Artigas Educational Complex, in Propatria, a space that provides shelter, food and comprehensive medical care to 121 families (341 people) affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

The affected families, from La Guaira, El Junquito and Catia, received institutional protection under the sponsorship of the Treasury Bank in facilities equipped with bedrooms, laundry, dining rooms and recreational areas.

During the day, the president monitored the progress of the Single Housing Registry using a fingerprint system and the assignment of QR codes to speed up the allocation of new homes, a census that was carried out in the 107 active camps in the metropolitan area, Miranda, La Guaira and Aragua.

The tour, which also confirmed the activation of socio-productive projects and hairdressers as part of the entrepreneurial city plan, included the Administrative and Digital Government sector vice-president, Anabel Pereira, and the Secretary of the General Staff for the Creation of Transitional Camps and Housing, Héctor Rodríguez.
