President Maduro celebrates 19th anniversary of Children's Cardiology: He has saved thousands of hearts

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, celebrated this Wednesday the 19th anniversary of the creation of the Dr. “Gilberto Rodríguez Ochoa” Latin American Children's Cardiology Hospital.

Through his social networks, the head of state stressed that this work represents “a miracle founded by Commander Chávez and a manifestation of the love of Christ that has touched Venezuela.”

He noted that, since its inauguration on August 20, 2006, the Children's Cardiology Center, located in Montalbán, “has saved thousands of children's hearts, consolidating itself as a high-level hospital worldwide.”

The Dignitary highlighted the dignified resistance of the medical center in the midst of the blockade and sanctions imposed by North American imperialism, and praised the ethics and love of the medical staff. “In Venezuela, we have the best professionals, trained to save lives with science and knowledge at the service of our people,” he emphasized.

Finally, President Maduro ratified his commitment “so that, with God's blessing, we continue to take care of the health of our boys and girls, and the miracles that are performed there will multiply. The basis of everything is love, and we will persevere on that path.”
